RESEARCH PROJECT 2026
Evaluating Political Integrity in Swedish Industrial Policy
AI Politik provides independent, fact-based analysis of political decision-making in Sweden, with a focus on large-scale industrial projects. We evaluate decisions against a structured corruption risk framework to promote transparency and accountability.
Decision Factor Analysis
Our framework evaluates political decisions using a multi-factor corruption risk model. Each factor is scored independently and contributes to an aggregate corruption risk assessment.
Financial Conflicts of Interest
Analysis of stock holdings in related companies by decision-makers and their relatives. We track direct and indirect financial interests including holdings through pension funds, investment vehicles, and family trusts.
Relative & Familial Holdings
Investigation of whether close family members of political decision-makers hold stocks, board positions, or financial interests in companies affected by the political decisions under review.
Political Relationships & Networks
Mapping of professional, social, and political relationships between decision-makers and company founders, investors, or board members including shared board memberships and party connections.
Political Agenda Assessment
Evaluation of whether decisions align with Swedish welfare and public interest, or whether they are driven by ideological agendas, party politics, or emotional reasoning rather than evidence-based policy.
Public Fund Mismanagement
Assessment of how taxpayer money and public pension funds were deployed, whether proper due diligence was conducted, and whether investment structures were designed to circumvent legal restrictions.
Accountability & Transparency
Evaluation of political actors’ willingness to accept responsibility for failed decisions, the transparency of decision-making processes, and whether proper oversight mechanisms were in place.
